New book: getting close!

Greetings!

The new book is coming along nicely. It still needs a bit of work, so I don’t want to say too much about it yet, but I would like to share with you some of the more interesting bits and pieces that came up as I was writing it. In a few days, I will start posting them.

For these to make sense, I have to provide a bit of background. This book is about something that is neither magic nor mentalism, yet has a place in both. To illustrate how it fits in, the book includes a number of magic and mentalism routines. Some are even reasonably novel or original.

In the process of writing, many questions (and musings) came up, ranging from the practical to the philosophical, on topics such as writing a magic book, magic, mentalism, ethics, and other topics. I hope you will find them interesting, or at least mildly amusing.
